8th Grade Promotion Information

Dear 8th Grade Bohannon Families,
We are very excited about all of our end of he year events and can't believe it's coming up so soon. To help guide families through all of the activities, we will have an 8th Grade Family Information Night on Tuesday, April 29th at 5:00 pm with Spanish Translation available. All information will also be posted to the website in case you are unable to attend on Tuesday, 4/29.
Ticket Information: All students will receive 4 tickets. We ask that ALL families register for promotion. If you do not need all 4 tickets, they will be added back to the pool. Families can request up to two additional tickets for a total of 6 tickets.
Students will receive their tickets during Promotion Practice on Monday, June 2nd. If you do not want your student to be responsible for their tickets, please call the main office or write a note on the 8th Grade permission slips.
Important Dates
- Friday, May 30th, 8th Grade Dance; 5:00 - 7:00
- At least 100 students must RSVP, or we may have to cancel the dance.
- Monday, June 2nd Promotion, 2:00 pm
- While Promotion is on Monday, June 2nd, we expect all students to continue attending school until Wednesday, June 4th.

Time: 2:00 pm
- Tickets are required to attend, and families will be guaranteed 4 tickets.
- All families, regardless of Promotion attendance, need to complete this form.
- Families can give back tickets if 4 are not needed
- Families can request more tickets.
- Tickets will be redistributed based on how many tickets are still available.
Rules, Guidelines and Reminders
While we want everyone to participate, students will be required to adhere to school rules and appropriate behavior and dress in order to participate in these events. Student agreements will be sent home for families and students to sign.
Families who want to chaperone or volunteer for our field trip must be a Level 2 Volunteer. Families can pick up their Volunteer Packet in the Main office, Monday through Friday, 8:00 - 3:00 pm. Students can also pick up a packet for families to complete. A current TB test, in addition to fingerprinting, is required.
2024-2025 Bohannon Yearbooks
Bohannon Yearbook Sales are happening now! Students and families will need to order yearbooks online.
