General Information About Me

This is my 27th year  teaching middle schoolers and most of those years have been at Bohannon. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy going to the reading, binging way too much tv, and hanging around my family. I have a son who is 21-years-old and is currently training as a chef.

College
Cal State East Bay-- I am a local girl. I grew up in San Lorenzo, and stayed close to home for college, as well. I loved being a Pioneer. I majored in English Literature and also went there to get my teaching credential. Both my brother and sister are graduates of Cal State East Bay too.
 
District Tools I Use
Report Cards
I use Aeries to generate report cards. Families can view report cards through the Aeries Family Portal
 
Gradebook
I use the Aeries Gradebook, so students and their parent/guardians can view grades through the Aeries Family Portal or Aeries app.
 
Google Classrom
I am using Google Classroom to manage assignment.  If you would like daily or weekly digests of activities and missing assignments, I can invite you as a guardian. Please email me with your request and email address.
 
 
 
LATE and Absent Work
Students that are absent, have 1 day for every day they are absent to make up their work.
 
Late Work--Students may turn in late work for up to two weeks after a due date. They will receive up to 70% credit for turning in a late assignment. Students need to be sure to fill out the late work form that is sitting on Google Classroom in order to alert me to their late work.
