General Information About Me

This is my 7th year teaching middle school in San Lorenzo. I currently teach 6th, 7th, and 8th grade PE here at Bohannon.  I have taught at both Washington Manor, and Bohannon middle schools. I have also coached Track & Field, and Cross Country at BMS, and have been an assistant coach for Boys Volleyball. I grew up in San Lorenzo, and attended Washington Manor Middle School, and Arroyo High School. When I am not teaching, I enjoy traveling, watching sports (Go Warriors!) spending time with family, and hanging out with my dog Watson.

Office Hours

My office hours are on Wednesdays from 1:00-1:30, however, students may arrange another time if needed. Students may drop in at any time during that 30 minutes to ask questions, get clarification about homework or grades, makeup a test, or simply check in. Once their question is answered, they may leave when they want.

Gradebook
I use the Aeries Gradebook, so students and their parent/guardians can view grades through the Aeries Family Portal or Aeries app.

Late Work
If students are absent, they have as many days as they were gone to turn in any makeup assignments, or schedule a time to take care of any makeup work (such as missed fitness tests). Late work can be turned in any time before the end of the quarter, but may be subject to a point deduction for being late.

Google Classroom:
Makeup work and assignments can be found on Google Classroom. All students should have access.

Absences/Medical Leave
Students who are absent need to complete makeup work for the amount of time they were absent. This work can be found on Canvas, and can be turned in via email, or hard copy when they return. Students have the same amount of time they are out to complete the makeup work. For example, if a student is absent for a week, they should turn in their makeup work within a week of returning to school. If a student is absent for an extended period of time, or is out on medical leave, they will need to turn in a doctors note. They will also need to complete a project to make up for the extended amount of time.
