Welcome to Ms. Sanchez's Teacher Page

Hello Bohannon students and families. I am Ms. Sanchez, and I am very excited to be teaching and supporting all students this school year. A little about myself: I enjoy spending time with my family. We love the outdoors, watching movies/shows, eating out, and trying new cuisines. 
 
Education – I attended UC Berkeley for my B.A. in Music. I was an Alder Teacher Resident and received my teaching credentials and Master's in Education from the University of the Pacific. I graduated from San Lorenzo High School and attended Edendale Middle School.
 
District Tools I Use –

Attendance:  I take attendance using Aeries. You can stay on top of attendance through the Aeries Family Portal or Aeries App.

Report Cards:  I use Aeries to generate report cards. Families can view report cards through the Aeries Family Portal.

Gradebook: I use the Aeries Gradebook, which allows students and their parents/guardians to view grades through the Aeries Family Portal or Aeries App. 

Google Classroom: I am using Google Classroom to manage assignments.  If you would like daily or weekly digests of activities and missing assignments, I can invite you as a guardian.  Please email me with your request and email address.

Canvas: Students will also be able to access their assignments, syllabus, and any information regarding our class through Canvas.

Parent-Teacher meetings will be held in person unless requested ahead of time and confirmed.

Other Tools we Use in class: IXL, iReady, Prodigy, Pear Deck, Kahoot, Desmos
