Welcome to Ms. Harper-Knox's Teacher Page!

Hello, Room 405 Students & Families.  My name is Mrs. Harper-Knox and I teach 6th grade Language Arts & Social Studies.

This will be my nineteenth year teaching middle school in San Lorenzo.  I work in the mornings at the District Office as the Liaison for our new teacher mentoring program.  In the afternoons, I come to BMS to teach.

When I’m not teaching, I enjoy cooking, being outdoors, and watching Bay Area sports.  I also have two boys at home, who love to play sports, draw and read.

College
I am a banana slug and attended the University of California, Santa Cruz.  I received my teaching credential and Masters in Education at Mills College in Oakland.

Attendance
I take attendance using Aeries. You can stay on top of attendance through the Aeries Family Portal or Aeries App.

Grading & Report Cards

I use Aeries to post all grades. Families can view grades and report cards through the Aeries Family Portal.  To view Report Card grades, go to Grades using Aeries.

If you want to know more about the assignment, go to Google Classroom. 

Google Classroom

I am using Google Classroom to manage assignments.  This is where students should go when they are absent or have questions.  All of the grades for these assignments will be posted in Aeries, not Google Classroom.
