Grades and Schoolwork

Grades

For the 4th Quarter, students will receive a pass or no pass. More information will be provided as we move forward. Grades in Aeries may not be up to date since we were waiting for guidance from our district.

Late Work – Can I turn in Late Work?

Please, keep in mind that teachers have different policies regarding later work, so it’s best to contact them directly. If you did not complete your assignment on time, please email your teacher to let them know that you have now completed the assignment.

I don’t know how to contact my teacher, and I don’t understand the work!

We strongly recommend that you attend your teacher’s office hours for more information. We know that might not be possible, so if you don’t understand the work, please send your teacher an email. They are more than happy to help, and love hearing from you.

Gmail & Google Classroom

Please check your student Gmail and Google Classroom daily, since that is our teacher’s main method of contacting you.

Homework vs. Classwork Mindset

If you are feeling overwhelmed by the amount of work, please remember that this is considered your classwork and not homework. If we were in session at school, you would be in your classroom for a longer period of time, but we do know teachers and classmates make the time go by faster.

Create a schedule. It’s best if you create a daily schedule so your body and mind can have a better routine. Figure out your office hours, schedule in your 20 minute PE Log so you are keeping active, and time for when you are going to independently work on your assignments.

Technology & Remote Learning
